Boudoir!

Just before Valentine's I gathered together some beautiful ladies and one handsome man for a boudoir marathon.
Below are some of the images they've allowed me to share with you. I wanted to hold off because some of these photos were used for Valentine's presents.

I am looking forward to doing another boudoir marathon, probably at the beginning of April. I am also open to doing them on an individual basis.

Colleen & Mike Maternity Session

Colleen contacted me last fall about getting maternity photos done and I was glad I was able to connect with her and her fiance, Mike.

Mike is a familiar face to some people around town as he's a musician that plays at many of the bars, and a very good musician at that. At one point during our session, he played a song that he had written for Colleen. It was an emotional moment.

Congratulations on your first baby! May you have lots of fun and enjoy all the love of your new family.

Amber & Cary

I had a chance to meet this wonderful couple through a mutual friend and we clicked right away. Amber and Cary are from Saskatchewan, where my family comes from and where I lived for a few years after college, so we had that in common.

I had a great time working with these two. They definitely love each other and are excited to be having their first baby.

They also helped me with another project which I'm not quite finished yet, but look for it to appear soon.

For now, here are the photos we created. Enjoy!

I loved this last one. It was suggested by Amber, who slipped into her old jeans to see how they fit.

Stacy & Sean's Wedding

Stacy and Sean managed to beat the winter weather by planning their wedding on one of the warmest weekends we've had so far in Fort McMurray.

After a beautiful ceremony at Heritage Park, the wedding party moved over to the Merit Hotel to celebrate.

Thanks for letting me be a part of your wonderful day!

A funny story: I met Stacy first after shooting engagement photos for her coworker Vanessa and her fiance Brad. During our meeting she mentioned that her fiance Sean was a local. We realized that he and I had grown up together, sharing many good friends - including one of the groomsmen.
