I had a surprise call the other week from an old classmate of mine.
After telling me how much she enjoyed my work and that she wanted to get some family photos done, the voice on the other end of the phone confessed that she and I had gone to school together. I occurred to me at that point she still hadn't told me her name.
Well, Paulette and I didn't move in the same circles at school and probably barely said more than a couple words to each other in high school, but then we were both different people 12 years ago. (No, I can't believe it's been that long!)
I had a great time catching up and meeting her husband Brian and their two boys - Cody and Kale - at their beautiful acreage out in Saprae Creek. Fall is Paulette's favourite season, so it's fairly obvious why they wanted to get their photos done while the leaves were changing colours.
I really enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks for inviting me over!
