The Touhey Family

I met up with this young family on Sunday afternoon. They're recent additions to Fort McMurray from Vancouver Island. In fact, only a short distance up the coast from where my husband grew up. Having been to the Island in winter, I understand why they were so surprised at how quickly the leaves fall off the trees here.

I enjoyed chatting with Amanda and Allan, while Levi and his little sister Layla were bundles of energy. It was a little hard to get the little ones to cooperate, but luckily we had some snacks on hand.
